Police in Yamunanagar, Haryana, are investigating alleged murder of a woman whose decapitated body was discovered recently.

The victim, whose identity was initially obscured as her head was severed and clothes removed, was allegedly killed by her former boyfriend, Furkan alias Bilal on December 6, as per a report by NDTV.

Police sources confirm the motive behind the killing was the victim’s relentless pressure on Furkan to marry her, which began after he ended their two-year relationship due to his wedding being fixed elsewhere.

In a chilling attempt to prevent her identification, the accused allegedly severed her head and removed her clothing before dumping the remains.
