Terrorist attack in Gurdaspur, Punjab rocked the state with 10 people killed including three terrorists and an SP. The bomb disposal squad removed five bombs from the railway tracks which could have otherwise claimed thousands of innocent lives. The terrorists started with hijacking a car and then open fired at a bus station before they entered in to the police station.

With the operation over, the attack has revealed the truth behind the security measures being provided to the brave hearted police officials. The footage shows police men fighting without any bullet-proof vest, patkas or helmets. Kneepads were their only protection shield against the raging bullets. The attackers who were carrying GPS systems and automatic weapons were fought back with dated self-loading rifles.

The way some policemen threw grenades without aiming and then ran for shelter exposed the inadequate training and unbelievable defenselessness. An overweight policeman found it difficult to run with his rifle in his hand.

Though the operation was declared successful with all three terrorists shot dead but the unfortunate attack has uncovered the plight of the policemen who put their lives at risk without any adequate training and equipment.
