Video: Metal From India’s Most Iconic Naval Ship, INS Vikrant To Be Used For Bajaj’s New Bike

“INS Vikrant, the country’s first aircraft carrier, holds an unparalleled place in the history of the India Navy. The 19,500-tonne aircraft carrier played a pivotal role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war that led to the creation of Bangladesh.

The warship guarded the seas around India for 36 years before it was decommissioned in 1997 and finally scrapped in 2014.

Fortunately, there were few people who were determined to continue the legacy of the mighty warrior ship and not let it be a thing of the past.

Bajaj Auto is coming up with an exclusive range of bikes ‘Bajaj V’, which contains the metal of the legendary INS Vikrant.

The Logical Indian community thanks and appreciates Bajaj for preserving the soul of India’s most iconic naval ship, INS Vikrant. Indeed, this is a historic move for the Indian auto-mobile industry and a proud moment for all the Indians too.”
