Manvi is posted in Dhanghata area of Sant Kabir Nagar district and was appreciated for her kindness as she assisted and offered food to an old woman outside a bank.

“Highest human virtues of kindness”

The UP Police’s Twitter handle shared pictures of Manvi with the old lady, as well as that of the letter addressed to Manvi. The Twitter post read, “DGP OP Singh commended Const. Manvi in an appreciation letter for exemplifying highest human virtues of kindness along with her duty. She not only empathetically comforted a hassled old lady outside a bank, helped her with her work but also offered her food Congratulations Manvi!”

The letter from the GDP said that Manvi had visited the bank for some work when she found the old woman standing in the sun. When she found out that the woman had not eaten for days, she offered her food and helped her with her bank chores.

The UP Police’s Twitter post was flooded with comments from people praising the woman for going beyond her duty and helping the lady.

In a similar incident that took place earlier this week in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi, the state police force congratulated Constable Priyanka Sharma on Twitter for going out of her way to help an elderly woman in need. When Priyanks learn that the woman was hungry, she offered her food and ensured that she ate.

Manvi is an epitome of a true constable as she did not restrict herself only to the duties she is supposed to perform as a part of the UP Police, but went beyond that to help the elderly woman. The Logical Indian appreciates Manvi and others like her for their compassionate nature.
