Aman, a Mumbai-based young has always been affectionate towards kids. He knows how to take care of them, but he never thought that he would need to take care of a baby alone, even if for a brief period of time.

It was during his regular evening walk with his brother that he heard that sound. He thought it must be a kitten. But, to his astonishment, found a baby girl wrapped in a towel, lying inside an auto next to a garbage dump. Without waiting, he took the baby in his hand and called the police. But, he was not able to get through.

He then posted on his twitter about the incident. The Mumbai Police responded quickly and came to sudden action. The baby’s condition was getting worse. She was taken to the police station and then to the hospital.

“I was shocked when I found the baby inside the auto-rickshaw. I have never come across any such incident in my life. You only see this in old Hindi films”, Aman told to Scoopwhoop. “When I heard her cries, I first thought it must be a kitten. Since I am an animal lover, I decided to look for it. I was shocked when I found the baby inside the auto-rickshaw. I have never come across any such incident in my life. You only see this in old Hindi films,” he added.

Even though many people passed by, none of them came to her rescue. Some of them even warned him explaining the legal consequences. “I paid no heed to any of them and kept the baby in my arms because she was shivering,” he said.

Since he reached home late at night, his family was anxious. But when they came to know all that happened, they said that they were proud of him.

Aman now gets in touch with the hospital authorities where she undergoes treatment. He visits the hospital every day and associates with the police to complete the legal formalities. “Once she is perfectly fine, I will make sure she is in the safe custody of a registered orphanage,” he said to the Scoopwhoop.
