The Logical Indian Take

Indian defence forces have taken several steps to become gender inclusive over the past few decades. Indian Air force has 13.09 per cent of women officers, which is the highest among the all three defence forces in India. Indian Navy Force has 6% women officers and Indian Army has only 3.80% of women officers.

Since 1993, the Indian Air Force has commissioned women in the officers’ cadre and successfully inducted them as pilots also.

The Logical Indian congratulates Jaiswal for breaking the glass ceiling and for inspiring other girls into believing that dreams and aspirations know no bounds.
