However, this 12 standard student, showed maturity way beyond his age and appealed just one to the nation-an appeal to end the mob culture and Hindu-Muslim violence.
“I hope a day doesn’t come when we are killing each other within India”
On being asked about what he would tell CM Yogi when he meets him, Abhishek said not just to CM Yogi, but he would like to appeal to the nation to stop Hindu-Muslim riots. He requested to the youth of the country, which in his own words is indulging in violence at the slightest instigation, to examine the issue before acting. He further said that they should not take law in their own hands.
Abhishek said, “Today my father has died. Tomorrow a mob could kill a top police officer. Then someday it will be a minister. Should mob-killing culture be allowed to go on like this? Absolutely not.”
He said that he hopes that a day doesn’t come where external forces like Pakistan and China are needed and we Indians kill each other.
He ended by telling what his father taught him, “My father always used to say whatever else you become, you need to be good citizens first. This country is yours. You people are not comprehending, I request you to understand – this mob culture will give us nothing.”
