These sixty children are living in this blown-out building in Gaza, which was hit in 2014 conflict. Palestinian children are recovering from the trauma of constant conflicts and violence in the region. One of the kid Malak, 12 years girl wants to become engineer so that she could build the torn, blown out homes as she lives in one of them.
“The doors are gone, the windows are gone and so are the walls. It’s as if we’re living on the street.” Malak has now lived through three conflicts in her short life. She still has nightmares every night.
