Internet without a doubt has made our lives a lot easier and opened the doors of opportunities for many. However as the news suggests it has its own threats and traps as well. The police and cyber crime branch are doing all it takes to protect people from becoming victims of cyber crimes. They are taking leads from tip-offs given online through tweets and posts from online users to bust crimes. Lauding the efforts of the police department in bringing down crimes online, we request online users to be vigilant, spread awareness and be part of the process to end cyber crime.

Kudos to the Bangalore City Police for their prompt action and using technology to their advantage. Now this is a perfect example of how the police can join hands with public to work together.
