Don’t Worry – Let Me Handle It

Supported by

“We’ve been cleaning these streets since the past decade. We live really far away from each other, so once we’re done cleaning we talk for sometime and then go home. We live really difficult lives, so it’s nice to have someone who cares and listens. I remember around 5 years ago, I was very upset because my son wasn’t studying and he wanted to leave college when she said, ‘don’t worry – let me handle it.’ She came home that day and spoke to him for about an hour outside. From that day onwards, he attended class everyday and today…he’s working at a marketing agency and supports my whole family. When I asked her what she said to him she told me that she showed him a photo of her own son who passed away because of being unemployed and drinking all day. What’s worse is that she didn’t even bring it up until that day…but spoke about it only to make my son’s life better.”
