GO BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY:

Passersby on the busy stretch near Phoenix Mall, ‪Velachery were pleasantly surprised on Wednesday morning by the sight of three policemen filling up pot holes on that road.

The police carried bricks, filled up the holes, used a iron bar to break the bricks and smoothen the surface. The police came in for a huge amount of praise from the public. Many roads like the one on the left were damaged severely due to heavy rains that battered the city from last Saturday.
