Delhi has now got the reputation that is hard to remove. Every day, we hear reports of assaults, molestation and rapes, but rarely there are news where one gets saved.

But this one is heartening, a group of teenagers saved an Uzbek national when she was getting robbed and attacked. On August 19, around 10 p.m., the boys were practicing for a match in the park, when they heard a foreign woman’s scream and saw a man running away after trying to snatch her mobile. The Incident Took place in Malviya Nagar, Delhi.

As he fled, the group of boys playing in the park jumped the park walls and gave chase. Sarthak Sharma, a class XII student of LBS School R K Puram, was the first to jump. Arun Singh Rajput, a class XII student of St Paul’s School, Japneet, a second-year-student of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and Aayush Joshi, a class XII student, quickly followed suit reports The Times of India‘.

We salute the students who didn’t give a second thought before trying to save the woman. This could have led to a serious situation. As of now, the woman is feeling threatened and is trying to get her tickets booked for Uzbekistan.
