Special OTET 2025
The Special OTET 2025 was conducted as a follow-up after the original OTET exam was cancelled due to a question paper leak, reflecting the state board’s efforts to ensure fair assessment for in-service teachers across Odisha.
This eligibility test is an essential requirement for recruitment to teaching positions in government-run schools, ensuring teaching standards and quality education for schoolchildren.
The test evaluates candidates through two papers focusing on child development, language proficiency, pedagogy, mathematics, and environmental studies.
Key Statistics and Board’s Official Views
BSE Odisha officials lauded the high turnout and the successful conduction of the exam under challenging circumstances, highlighting the encouraging overall pass rate that mirrors the competence of Odisha’s teaching workforce.
The board emphasised stringent adherence to fairness and transparency, ensuring that qualified candidates receive official endorsements necessary for employment. Candidates who did not qualify have the option to download their OMR answer sheets till November 22 to self-assess their performance.
