Thanks to our daily routine, most of us tend to stay seated on our chairs at work and then on couches binge-watching our favourite shows when we come back home. Seldom do we realise how this can give us excruciating body pains. “Health is Wealth” is a popular saying that has been reiterated time and again and for all the good reasons. It is true that good health can often and easily be under-acknowledged. However, in order to spread awareness about the importance to preserve this precious gift, Moov, as part of its latest initiative has rolled out ‘#MakeYourMoov’ challenge in the country that encourages people to post videos of the exercise moves that is unique to them with a hashtag #MakeYourMoov. The idea stems in resonance with the ‘Fit India Movement’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 29th.

The brand’s #MakeYourMoov challenge is a pressing attempt to start a fitness chain among the people by inspiring friends, family and colleagues to make a move as well. The initiative intends to improve the overall health of the country by helping them choose a wholesome lifestyle simply by incorporating a few basic exercises in their everyday lives. This challenge initiative is also interactive in a way because anyone who takes up the challenge can simply nominate friends and motivate them to show their moves as well. To add a dollop of interesting twist, it is actually also possible to give a unique name to the workout style that may be exclusive to oneself. But it doesn’t end there! In addition, the most liked and recreated moves shall be reposted on the official Moov India page with credit to the creator.

This innovative initiative by Moov also impelled a number of B-Town celebs and sports personalities to take the #MakeYourMoov challenge and pass it on to their friends from the industry. The movement has almost galvanised the internet with the matchless workout moves of celebrities like  Gautam Gambhir’s ‘The Gauthi Pushup’, Malika Arora Khan’s ‘Bench Press’, Rakul Preet’s ‘Anti Gravity Pushups’ and Arjun Rampal’s ‘Crocodile Walk’.

Besides, the fitness challenge was also taken up by a number of Tik Tok influencers and Instagram Influencers. It garnered a whopping 3.89 billion views from Tiktol and over 10K user-generated content organically across other platforms.
