Video Shows Mother Elephant Escorting Her Baby Who Was Getting Washed Away In River

In an adorable video that has gone viral, a mother elephant is seen patiently saving her child from being washed away in the huge water body. Shared on Twitter by IFS officer Susanta Nanda on 24 June from Siliguri, the video gives a glimpse of the protective nature of elephants when it comes to keeping their young ones safe and sound. The video shows a group of adult elephants walking along a road. After careful observation, one will be able to spot a tiny jumbo running along with the elephants in the middle as fast as its tiny legs can carry it.
