Reserve Bank Of India Set To Launch First Pilot For Retail Digital Rupee On December 1

The first phase of the pilot rollout of the retail digital Rupee will include four banks– State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, YEs Bank and IDFC First Bank. Also, the Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank will join the trial later, as reported by Mint.
