Nepal: Police Dogs Honoured With Medals On Tihar Festival

The second day of the five-day Tihar festival is celebrated as 'Kukur Tihar' by Hindus in Nepal, where dogs considered a messenger of God is bathed, garlanded and honoured for their presence. 47 Dogs at Police Canine Training Center in Kathmandu were honoured in a parade for the occasion on November 3.
