Ladakh Observes Complete Bandh In Demand For Constitutional Safeguard

The Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) and Apex Body jointly had called for a complete bandh, including all tourists operations in the Ladakh region on December 13. This was in demand for constitutional safeguards, statehood for Ladakh and separate Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha seats from Leh and Kargil.
