Former Milk and Dairy Development Minister Of AIADMK Rajenthra Balaji Arrested In Karnataka

Former Milk and Dairy Development minister of AIADMK Rajenthra Balaji was arrested by the Virudhunagar District Crime Branch (DCB) on January 5, in connection with a fraud case. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by a former functionary of the AIADMK, K Nallathambi, that he had collected Rs 1.6 crore on the instructions from Balaji, promising people jobs, and had handed over the money to Balaji and his associates. Eight special teams were formed to arrest Rajendra Balaji who reportedly absconded. After 15 days, Rajendra Balaji was arrested from Hassan in Karnataka.
