Indian table tennis player Ankur Bhattacharjee won his maiden WTT men’s singles title at the WTT Feeder Olomouc in Czechia on August 28, defeating third-seeded Slovenian Deni Kozul 3-1 in the final.
The World No. 78 player recovered after losing the opening game 9-11, winning the next three 11-4, 11-5 and 11-6 to complete a breakthrough victory. Earlier the same day, Bhattacharjee teamed up with fellow Indian Akash Pal to win the men’s doubles title, defeating Hungary’s Csaba Andras Szantosi and Poland’s Alan Kulczycki Zalewski 3-1.
