Yesterday night, a collision b/w the Mercedes and a Maruti Alto lead to the death of four-year-old girl(Sonam) who was travelling with her parents. In the accident, Five people were injured. Injured were identified as Seema (40), Hanuman (38), Shikha Devi (35), Hema Malini(66) and Somil (5). Sonam, who died in the accident, was daughter of Hanuman and Shikha. Shikha Devi and her son Somil were rushed to Sawai Man Singh hospital in Jaipur and the other two were admitted to Dausa district hospital. Both of them have critical injuries on the head and other parts of the body.
“I was taking a turn on the Dausa bypass. There was a car ahead of my car which also passed through and suddenly I don’t know from where this car came in and rammed us… after that I don’t know what happened,” Mr Harsh recounted.
A senior police officer from Dausa, where the accident took place about 60 km from state capital Jaipur, said on Thursday night, “I am being told the Mercedes was speeding. It drove over the divider.” However, he also said the driver of the Alto may not have been paying attention while entering the section of the highway where the collision took place.
In the accident, actor-turned politician Hema Malini, who was in the mercedes also got minor injury. The accident took place when mercedes collided with alto on Agra-Jaipur National Highway-11 near Dausa at around 9 pm on Thursday. The accident site is around 60 km from Jaipur. The speeding Mercedes driver has been arrested.
The Logical Indian requests you to stop being over sympathetic to Hema Malini just because she is a celebrity. The incident is equally unfortunate to both the parties, rather one lost her life!
