Families of victims from the Delhi Red Fort blast have been waiting anxiously outside Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital for hours, seeking news of their loved ones after the powerful explosion on November 10, 2025.
In an exclusive footage accessed by The Logical Indian, family member of a missing person, an e rickshaw driver, alleged that was denied entry into the hospital to identify his relative. He stated that despite an extensive search and repeated attempts, he was unable to gain access. However, he added that his wife was later allowed into the hospital.
The blast, involving a Hyundai i20 car near the Red Fort Metro Station, killed at least 13 people and injured over 20. Authorities are conducting an intensive investigation, linking the blast to a terror module with connections to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Families express frustration over lack of information and denied entry to hospital, adding to their grief and confusion. They were left outside and told to wait without giving any information. Families including mothers, wives, brothers of the deceased and injured stood outside LNJP hospital in cold without food or shelter.
Families Waiting in Agony at LNJP Hospital
Family members and relatives of the deceased and injured in the Delhi blast faced immense difficulty in locating their loved ones. Numerous calls reportedly went unanswered, forcing them to undertake exhausting rounds of search across hospitals and emergency centers.
Many of these people include Najish Mallik and Mohammad Chand, who were denied entry into LNJP Hospital despite desperate pleas to see their injured family members, according to the Print. They face uncertainty and anguish, with little information from officials.
Najish’s brother-in-law’s phone was recovered near the blast site, and police reportedly answered a call made to his number, leaving families in limbo about their loved ones’ condition. The Print reported that Ganga Ram survived the blast but has been frantically searching for his missing brother Subhash, facing silence and limited official communication. Mohammad Chand awaits news of his brother at the hospital mortuary, desperate for any sign of life.
Raj Tripathi from Chandni Chowk told reporters that one of his relatives is among the injured in the Red Fort blast, but he is unaware of their current condition. He added that authorities did not allow him to enter the hospital when he tried on Monday night. This account was reported by journalist Ubeer Naqushbandi.
Similar incidents were reported during the New Delhi Railway Station stampede which resulted in the death of 18 innocent people.

Multiple Vehicles Linked to Terror Conspiracy
In addition to the Hyundai i20 used in the Delhi blast, the suspected suicide bomber and his key associate reportedly procured two more vehicles from Delhi, NDTV has learnt. While details about these cars remain limited, authorities believe they were part of a larger terror plot, which is now under investigation to identify all individuals involved in the November 10 incident.
The powerful explosion near Gate 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening shook the national capital, leaving nine people dead and around two dozen injured.
The suspected bomber, Umar Nabi, has been identified as a doctor with ties to the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. Aamir Rashid Mir, a former employee in Kashmir’s power department, along with his family, is accused of assisting Nabi.
The Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) has now taken over the probe into the Jaish module, intensifying efforts to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy.

Blast Details and Investigation Updates
The explosion occurred at 6:52 pm near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station when the Hyundai i20, laden with ammonium nitrate explosives, suddenly blew up. The suspected driver, Dr. Umar Mohammad, reportedly panicked after associates were arrested during a massive crackdown on a terror module linked to the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Investigators say the blast may have been an accidental detonation of an incomplete improvised explosive device. Security remains tight, with the Lal Quila metro station closed and forensic teams examining the scene. Authorities continue to detain suspects and probe terror links behind the deadly attack.
