In a landmark event on the night of September 22, 2025, a team of female police officers in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, conducted their first-ever encounter, resulting in the arrest of a 22-year-old wanted criminal named Jitendra.

He then opened fire on the officers in a bid to escape. The quick and composed retaliatory firing injured Jitendra, enabling his arrest.
Police recovered a country-made pistol, mobile phone, tablet, and the scooter, all reportedly stolen. Jitendra confessed to snatching, thefts, and robberies across the National Capital Region.
