The driver said the amount would not make either rich and urged her not to worry. The footage, viewed over 600,000 times on social media, has split netizens between supporting the driver’s principled stand and criticising the passenger’s entitled attitude. No official complaint has been reported so far.

The video starts as the woman declares she will leave without paying, increasing tension. The driver questions why he should drop her beyond the requested location. Despite her insensitive remarks and threats, he remains composed, explaining the boundaries set by the ride-hailing app.

He remarks that Rs 132 is too small an amount to risk a dispute but important for principles.
