Shilpa B. Panchangamatha, a 27-year-old former software engineer and mother of a toddler, was found dead at her Bengaluru residence under suspicious circumstances on August 26, 2025. Her husband, Praveen, also a former techie who turned pani puri seller, along with his mother, has been arrested on charges of dowry harassment and suspected involvement in her death.
