Bridge The Miles Of Distance Between You And Your First Partner In Crime, This Raksha Bandhan #DeliverTheLove

Childhood is really a salad of sugar, spice and all things nice! Thanks to our very (not so much) compliant siblings. From unending sarcastic vexations to heaps of inside jokes, from wishing to push our siblings right off the earth to waging a war against the world for them, there is so much that goes into making a sibling relationship so beautiful. However, time is a little sneaky. One time, we are having a tussle with our siblings over TV remote and the next thing we know is that we are sitting miles apart. Reminiscing the sweet childhood, we come to a realisation that those ordinary playful times turn into extraordinary memories of gold.

Often jobs, university or even boarding schools for that matter brings us to a crossroad from where distance becomes inevitable. As much as it tears us apart, it strengthens our relationships a great deal. What’s next? Every year, a rakhi is delivered at the doorstep and our brothers in different cities or in hostels try to tie them on their own. It sure makes us smile but somehow doesn’t make up for the distance. Amazon’s latest film brings us back to that first step of the miles and miles of distance that eventually gets between us. The film depicts a heartfelt story of an adorable young brother Sonu who pulls out his old box of rakhis and struggles to tie one to his wrist on his own. For the longest time, nobody is able to understand why?

The film gives us a surge of nostalgia at every moment as the story progresses. Sonu’s elder sister, Simi, who is getting her little brother ready for the hostel tells him to learn to make his tie on his own because she won’t be around. This is when little Sonu chokes up and shows her the rakhi that he has been struggling to tie on his own. This intense moment of warm emotion mellows many hearts. It is that universal crossroad that closes up in the lives of many people in different ways.

But as they say, “Distance makes the heart grow fonder”! The string of affection, love, and concern never cease to strengthen. This Raksha Bandhan, be a true ‘veera’ and pick up right where you left off, even if it has been months that you last met and indulged in a playful tussle. This Raksha Bandhan, go right back to your siblings, pull their cheeks, annoy them because why not? They are still the same old monkey for us! This Raksha Bandhan don’t just send a gift but #DeliverTheLove (by Amazon).
