Fact Check: Is Pakistan Flag Really Painted On The Top Of Kartarpur Gurudwara?

Pakistan Prime Minister Mr Imran Khan is to inaugurate the famous Kartarpur corridor on 9th November, just three days before the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.

But before this event, images of a structure with a flag of Pakistan painted on its rooftop are going viral on various social media sites. It’s claimed that Pakistan put its own flag instead of the traditional Sikh religious Khanda flag on the rooftop area of Kartarpur gurudwara.

Fact Check

A reverse google image search shows that the structure is not of the Kartarpur Gurudwara. It is of the immigration centre located near to Kartarpur Gurudwara. A Pakistani flag of height 150-feet has been hoisted on the rooftop of the immigration centre.
