International Day Of Persons With Disability: Man On Wheelchair Walks The World To Inclusion

Supported by

They say circumstances and situations in life cannot dim one’s optimism. Manoj Kumar, a differently-abled person with his herculean prowess proves the same in all his might. He braved the challenges that life brought in his way and today stands tall headed as a delivery partner with Swiggy. His story, as much as it’s inspiring has also endearingly touched many hearts.

The story of Manoj started when he was about six years old. On an unfortunate day, his body temperature went up causing him a terrible fever. As a matter of regretful luck, the doctor gave him a wrong injection that caused his one leg to paralyse permanently. With his ‘never give up attitude’, he rebuilt himself and happened to open an NGO for the disabled to help them achieve their dreams.

After having an NGO in place, he got this idea to join Swiggy. According to him, working as a delivery partner opened him up to a world of new people who he would meet every day on his job. Manoj, with a glint on his face, says how people he meets encourages him, tells him wonderful things and bless him for his success. In time, when Manoj himself saw how lucrative it was to work with Swiggy, he decided to also get people from his NGO to join as well.
