My Story: I Came Back To My Room & Started Thinking About Him. Don’t Know Why My Eyes Became Teary

Supported by

The story is of that period when I was in Gurgaon and doing a private job there.  Once I was returning from my office. Incidentally that day my cab driver dropped me few km before my stoppage. Then I started walking towards my room.

Just seen a 85 years of old road side vendor selling small small daily use items, which were not more than of 5000 INR of his total products. Don’t know why I started thinking about him. Then I went to him and asked “Uncle please give me anything you have in 10 rupees ” He looked at me like a strange look and replied in a sad old voice “Beta jo tumhare dil me aye wo le lo, har cheez ka dam same hai”.

I just picked a something from him. Then I came back to my room and got freshed and again started thinking about him. In few seconds don’t know why my eyes became teary. I just took keys of my bike and moved to him to meet him. I sat there with him on the ground and asked him lots of questions.

That day he was earned just 80 INR and his room rent is rs 2400 /month. Such a nice person. Before I depart I gave him 200 INR for Dinner and noted my contact number in his small diary and told him to call me in his trouble times. I just loved talking with him.

Then everyday I started meeting him. After a few days I left India for my new consignment.

Now I don’t know how and where he is. I learned and inspired by him to work hard in life whatever the situation is. If anyone know him then please purchase atleast one item from this type of vendors those are struggling to live not to make bank balance.
