There have been many stories of Indian and Pakistani soldiers and people crossing the border by mistake, but not many would be as good as the one we witnessed yesterday. The story is indeed reminiscent of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. A five-year-old Pakistani girl was found at Natha Singh Wala Border Outpost area of under Abohar sector, Punjab. She was found around 10:30 am in the morning and was handed over to Pakistani Rangers at 2 PM after a meeting between BSF and Pakistani Rangers.

She being deaf and mute, BSF officials found it difficult to communicate with the girl. The Pakistan Rangers were informed who later sent out the alerts to the villages close to the border. Her Father Allah Ditta, who hails from Sadiq village in Kasur district, identified her. Her name is Livi Bibi. As a goodwill gesture with Pakistan, the girl was returned on humanitarian grounds after her father identified her, the DIG said to
Indian Express reporter.
The Logical Indian appreciates Border Security Force for the gesture and for sending out a positive message. A message which has meaning for every one of us. Humanism could and should be the We hope this incident helps in bringing positivity among people across the border and build confidence between the two nations.
