Amidst the chaos and destruction, this Palestinian woman is doing something which is hard to describe by words. she is watering dozens of plants grown from used tear gas canisters collected in clashes with Israeli soldiers during protests against the West Bank occupation.

Amidst the horror of being bombed by some of the deadliest weapons the world had witnessed, it is indeed a beautiful sight to see what this Palestinian woman is doing.

Perhaps these pictures are symbolic of what the solution could be to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, flowers have to replace bombs and explosives to ensure lasting peace in the region where Palestinians & Israelis could live together with mutual respect in peace and prosperity.
