Supported by

Another incident of misuse of power and VIP culture by a politician was seen at the toll plaza in MP near Bhopal. A politician belonging to BJP assaulted a toll plaza employee and vandalized the infrastructure.

Incident took place on Monday evening in
the Mhow district, 250 km from Bhopal. Where on asking the toll fee, alleged politician by name Kalu Singh Thakur of the BJP started pelting stone at one of the employees there.

Further he audaciously said that he doesn’t owe any apology to anyone, he is an MLA and they don’t pay the toll tax. Strangely the police also have accepted his complaint against the toll plaza worker.

Though all the legislators and high-level government officials are exempt from paying the toll tax, they need to provide the identification. Moreover, the politician was using his private car and got furious on asking the identification.

We have seen such shameful acts from many politicians and other powerful people exploiting toll plaza employees. It is high time we end VIP culture in our country and bring dignity to all the professions and save hard-working employees from harassment.
