“About 25 years ago, I was struggling at every job I took up and felt as if nothing was meant for me. By chance, I started selling these bubbles just to earn a little and have two square meals a day but eventually, these bubbles became my life.

When my kids were little, they used to get happy whenever they saw these bubbles and now only because of them they have completed their education. My eldest son has already started working.”

“Ever think of retiring?”

“Never! I’m a professional at blowing these bubbles now. Even if you come here after 10 years and I’m still alive. You’ll probably find me doing the same thing.”

Everyone in my neighborhood came to my house to show me the newspaper. It had my photo in it with my life’s story. I got calls from my relatives and they also wished me for the photograph.

When I came to the lake, then the shop owners also greeted me, they said ‘Aap toh famous ho gaye’. No one in my family has ever been featured in a newspaper. Being a bubble seller, I never thought that I will make it to the newspaper.

This was one of the happiest moments of my life. I keep this paper cutting with me all the time. I show your photo to people. I tell them that this guy on the left ‘My Good friend’ who talks to people and makes them famous.

Sorry I lie to some people that I know you. It’s just I have been waiting to meet you from last 7 months and you are finally here. Would you like to a have a cup of tea with me?”
