Mumbai Youth Died After Falling From Local Train

Supported by

This incident should open our eyes and especially of the authority, Mumbai commuters have to risk their lives daily to reach their destination. Yesterday, a 21-year-old youth lost his life while traveling in Mumbai locals.

The youth died after falling from a CST-bound train between Kopar and Diva Junction during rush hour. The youth, Bhavesh Nakate had boarded a packed 8.59 am local from Dombivli.

One of the commuters has recorded a video showing Nakate gradually slipping away and falling on the tracks. This is not first instanced and won’t be last. On first week of this month only, 3 commuters lost their lives falling off moving train. Everyday 8 Mumbai commuters die while traveling from Mumbai sub-urban trains, but no one is raising the issue. This instance should open our eyes to the problem.

The Logical Indian appeal to railway authority to introduce more trains in the route especially during rush hours and improve the infrastructure and we also appeal to commuters please be cautious while traveling and always give your safety the first priority.
