Meet Chacha-Chachi, who have been acting as a Saviour for people who lost their hope when they got stuck in the desert mountain valley of Spiti. Located high in the Himalaya mountains, it is paradise of India.

Lots of tourists go there to enjoy the scenic beauty and to do trekking but sometimes they have to face situation, where life is threatened. Chachi-chachi have been serving tourists at their Chandra Dhaba for last 41 years providing food and arranging accommodation, even for free for those who don’t have any option.

People like Chacha-Chachi are hidden pearls. “Pearls of India” is an initiative to uncover these precious and hidden pearls from across the nation- who serves as an inspiration to one and all. “Pearls of India” will be presented in a series of videos wherein we introduce such “Pearls” across India over the course of time.
