On October 27, 2024, Armaan Bhatia made history at the PWR DUPR India Masters in New Delhi by clinching the men’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles titles, achieving a remarkable triple crown. In the singles final, he staged a comeback against top seed Dusty Boyer, winning with scores of 8-11, 11-9, and 11-8. Bhatia’s victories not only highlight his prowess as Asia’s top-ranked pickleball player but also aim to inspire a new generation of athletes in India as the sport gains popularity.

Historic Triumph for Bhatia

Competing at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association Stadium, Bhatia showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament. After overcoming fellow Indian Aashutosh Mehta in the early rounds, he faced Boyer in a thrilling final that saw him rally from behind to secure victory. Following his singles win, Bhatia partnered with Roos van Reek to claim the mixed doubles title and teamed up with Harsh Mehta for the men’s doubles championship. Reflecting on his achievements, Bhatia expressed gratitude for his support team and excitement about the future of pickleball in India.
