To date, KEF’s scholarship umbrella has supported 8,749 lifetime scholars across its Kotak Junior, Kotak Graduate, Kotak Shiksha Nidhi, Kotak Suraksha and Kotak Kanya Scholarship programmes.
In the current academic cohort, the foundation is providing financial and developmental support to 5,655 scholars.
The Kotak Kanya Scholarship specifically accounts for 1,525 lifetime scholars, with an additional 500 new girl scholars onboarded into the programme each year.
The impact of this support extends beyond the period of scholarship assistance. Many scholars, including those who left home at a young age to pursue their studies, are now earning good salaries in reputed organisations, supporting their families and some of them are even pursuing advanced studies in engineering, public service and specialised management disciplines.
