The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has opened the online scrutiny window for Class 10 and 12 answer sheets for the 2026 board exams, allowing students dissatisfied with their marks to apply for re-evaluation through upmsp.edu.in until May 17, 2026.
The announcement was made via the board’s official handle (@upboardpryj) on X following the declaration of results. Students must apply within the deadline, as late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. The initiative is aimed at ensuring transparency and accuracy in evaluation while giving students a formal mechanism to raise concerns over discrepancies.
Strict Rules, Fees And Application Process
According to the board’s latest update, candidates applying for scrutiny are required to follow a structured online process, including submission of key details such as roll number and examination information. A prescribed fee is applicable per subject, and students must complete payment through the designated system to validate their application.
Officials have clarified that the scrutiny process involves checking for errors such as incorrect totalling, missed answers or marking inconsistencies rather than a complete re-evaluation of answer scripts. The board has also stressed that applications submitted after the May 17 deadline or through offline means will not be considered, underscoring the importance of adhering to guidelines.
