Ranveer Singh Saini, a 14 year old boy affected with autism, has become the first Indian golfer to participate and win in the Special Olympics.

Gurgaon based Ranveer was diagnosed with autism at two years of age. This was marked by the onset of hyperactivity and little social interaction with other children of his age. While Ranveer should get appreciation for this feat, a special role was played by his parents who did not allow their child live a helpless life. Always keen and focussed on helping Ranveer overcome all issues, they formed a strong pillar of support and gave him much needed guidance and love that helped him rise and shine.

Ranveer’s parents in turn have thanked his school teachers, media and everyone who came forward to mentor and support Ranveer to excel in a sport that is not very popular in our country.

We applaud the efforts of Ranveer as well as his parents and looks forward to many more laurels for India in future.
