Delhi Constable & Auto-Rickshaw Driver Went Door-To-Door To Help A Lost Child Find His Home

More often children of smaller ages get lost unaware of the dangers they might witness along .But thanks to our dedicated and observant police force who rescue those tiny tots and make sure they reach home safely.

Parul a 3 year old child who after walking 2 km far away from the house hopped into an auto rickshaw looking for his parents and suddenly started crying when asked for the whereabouts by the auto rickshaw driver .It is then the driver realised the kid is lost and immediately approached to a police constable who was doing his daily patrolling duty in the area .The constable Dharmendra after knowing of the incident informed his superiors immediately .

The police constable with the help of locals , the auto rickshaw driver and his own local knowledge since he was of the same area explored the blocks A,B,and C. He knocked at every house out of the few the child happened to recognize to finally find the house of the kid where he lived with his grandfather in Tirath Kohli in Kalkaji. The child’s father died 2 years ago and the mother didn’t live with the family anymore.

DCP Mandeep Singh said the constable will be rewarded for his efforts.
